Management Hawker Posted November 30, 2010 Management Report Share Posted November 30, 2010 Hiya guys, Any of you attempting to visit in the last 2 hours will have realised that I took the board offline to run the upgrade on it. We are back but it's a rush job because I thought you'd all appreciate having somewhere to post. Basically, I'm trying to say that there's still a lot to do behind the scenes - so please don't think that this is it...you'll start seeing some improvements shortly. In the meantime, yes, things will look different and things will seem strange...but I will slowly piece them back together. Thanks for your patience...comments, suggestions etc...just reply to this. --David--
Thanks Sal! Is everyone else getting just the plain IPBOARD look? Or is the green look still on? I'm in the boring plan look mode and I can't get out. Quote Link to comment
Management Hawker Posted November 30, 2010 Author Management Report Share Posted November 30, 2010 I've forced everyone onto the plain one for the moment, just whilst I play with the edits. It makes it easier for me to spot mistakes, and then I'll let you run free with individual skins soon. Quote Link to comment
--David--
Oh thank god Sal. I thought that I'd done something wrong... Quote Link to comment

TVTimes
the updates looks good. but the forum website screen seems a big too wide. Quote Link to comment
Tracy F
Thanks Sal. The board looks great. Quote Link to comment
Tracy C
I love the wider screen too (although not tried it on my iPhone yet) as it works better with my widescreen lappy. Quote Link to comment
Lesley.
Love the new look, thanks Sal Quote Link to comment
Graham
I'd go with those who say the dimensions of the board are too wide: on my monitor at work (set to 1024x768), there's about a quarter of the board that I need to scroll across in order to be able to see it. I suspect it'll be all right at home, though, where I have a wider resolution. Quote Link to comment
mango
Thanks Sal Looking forward to seeing all the shiny new things. LOL at the Random Quote that says "testestest" Quote Link to comment
Management Hawker Posted December 1, 2010 Author Management Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 Sorry guys - I was out all day and had no idea that we'd gone off (not that I could've done anything from where I was anyway, apart from worry!). I've got a few things I might need to chat to the host about to give us a bit more oomph...it seems that when a few of us logged in in the morning, it overloaded us. I will stick around tonight so if it happens again, I can mend it rapidly - but hopefully I can buy a few of the things we need to keep us coasting. Quote Link to comment
SilentEyes
Thanks, Sal. It's looking good. Quote Link to comment

I didn't try it on my PC at work/my iPhone. Quote Link to comment
Management Hawker Posted December 1, 2010 Author Management Report Share Posted December 1, 2010 I've just replied to this elsewhere - give the site a hard refresh...it'll shrink for you, as I've reset it. Quote Link to comment
