Yes, the board Admin are aware of this.

There have been a few problems with the site in the past few days, which we're aware of. It will hopefully be back up soon.
-
Please can everyone remember that the 'Report' link that appears at the bottom of every post on the board is to enable you to report to the Staff issues such as members posting spoilers where they shouldn't, posts containing inappropriate content, abuse towards other board members or Neighbours cast and crew, etc.
Please don't use the 'Report' link to report duplicate posts or posts that have been made in the wrong font. These are not serious problems and will always be spotted by a member of Staff and corrected in due course. The 'Report' link should only be used for significant issues that require prompt Staff attention.
Thank you.

Thanks for the warning, Sal - I'm normally on here at around 5:45am, while I'm having breakfast!
-
A fantastic achievement!

Thanks, Sal. None of us would be here if it wasn't for you having taken over the running of the board all those years ago, so give yourself a pat on the back as well for being the person who keeps the show on the road.
And Happy Birthday to Neighbours and to us!

Was that before or after the board upgrade last weekend.
It's only since the board upgrade.

Due to changes in the software behind the board, the handling of avatars is now different. At the moment people just have to do without one unless they're a subscriber, in which case they can upload a picture themself. Sal is looking at options for bringing back avatars in due course. You can find out how to subscribe here.
-
How do I change my avatar please? I can't find the pictures in my profile.
Avatars are an issue Sal will need to deal with separately.

Ooh... it's all new and shiny!
Thanks for all your hard work so far, Sal.

Woohoo!

Graham - the bit where Michael gets dropped off at Jordan's and the whole elaborate stunt from then on to make Julie (and Phil!) think she's crazy.
Ah! Yes, that's very well done!
-
Well done, Gaynor!
(Also, a big thanks to all of our summarisers in general, who are doing a fab job of keeping 2012 up to date and filling in the rest of the archive too - check out this summary for one of my favourite Neighbours moments ever! )
Which bit is that, Sal?

I think there are a fair number of us now who couldn't imagine life without this board as a part of it, and certainly can't remember what life was like before it came along! Long may it continue.

Maybe it has something to do with this year being a leap year and the software only adding 365 days to your subscription (which should end on 7 January 2013) instead of 366?

And the LJ is public so you don't need to sign up unless you want to post
It annoyed me that I was able to post in the past on the LJ page as an anonymous member (I don't have an LJ account) but now it won't let me.
I have to say thanks to Janet for texting me because she wasn't sure whether I'd seen the LJ page.

Fantastic news that we're back. Thanks for working so hard on it!

Yay for Nfans and everyone who sails on her!

I'd go with those who say the dimensions of the board are too wide: on my monitor at work (set to 1024x768), there's about a quarter of the board that I need to scroll across in order to be able to see it. I suspect it'll be all right at home, though, where I have a wider resolution.

Where's the 'Like' button when you need it?

Fantastic news on reaching 5000 summaries!

Three cheers for Sal for being an awesome boss and board owner.

An amazing achievement.
Having written 972 summaries of Sons and Daughters episodes in the late-90s and early-2000s, I'd pretty much vowed never to summarise an episode of a TV show ever again(!), but somehow I got dragged in to the wonderful community that was producing the archive, and I wrote about 500 Neighbours summaries before focusing on caps. It's fantastic to see the archive complete after all these years and everyone's hard work.
