My background is Arts and Entertainment. I currently have a BLOG called "From the Desk of Jim R" on Blogger.com. It's mostly entertainment stories, ranging from "Hollyoaks" and "Home and Away" to "Eastenders" and "Coronation Street."

I also just wrote another Men's Fashion Blog, which recently, got attention on Twitter from the Paris Fashion Houses .

The Blog itself is read all over the world (Blogger.com gives daily updates on stats, audience, etc.). I've also gotten lots of commentary from the actors, writers and producers involved with these shows via Twitter, Facebook and Blogger.com.

Eventually, I will be doing a story on "Neighbours" and other television programs.

I went to college at New York University and graduated with a B.A. in Journalism, Theater, Acting and Education.

I have a Facebook and Twitter account, which is listed under my name: Jim Ruocco...Friend me or Follow me. Would truly enjoy having more Facebook or Twitter friends from Australia and around the world.

I have friends that live in Sydney and hope to visit Australia in the future. The flight from New York is 22 hrs. and 59 min. Very long, but look what I get to see when I land.....pretty awesome
