Are you getting ready to upgrade the software or just having a clear out to speed the board up?
Hopefully the upgrade will come, with a nice new look for the forum as well, and the return of an actual forum banner
Tapatalk integration would be nice, for us mobile users

A FB page would definitely be great. It would be a great tie in too if the site is ever going to expand in the future to being more than an episode archive and forum. The FB page could definitely get more than 11 likes this time around as well, especially if its promoted on the main page and the forum.

I probably shouldn't react - it's not good to feed trolls, but do you know what? The words 'stuffed' and 'get' spring to mind reading this and that's the polite version
I love how you deleted the bottom bit of my post which said the said the same as everyone else is saying. As for the bit you quoted - it was meant light hearidtly (hence the floppies) so please don't asume my post was a personal attack.
I'm glad the board is back and the last few days must be a nightmare for staff.

Without trying to create a bigger storm in a teacup there, I will just say, I took 83ray1's original post as being completely light hearted and humourous as well. But I guess I just have more of the "take the naff out on something" type of sense of humour. Thought the floppy disks pic was quite good TBH
There's a Twitter page and a Livejournal page that I was updating, but although the main page was available, it wasn't accessible from the back end of the site (I.e. I couldn't change it).
Have you guys contemplated a Facebook page? I'm sure lots of FB users like myself would find that to be way more accessible than a Livejournal page (which I have never actually been on except for Nfans
). Just a suggestion, that's all. -

Oh, I was referring to the Blue 3.1 theme being the "fluid skin", because it adjusts to your browser size/screen resolution rather than being fixed like the IP Board theme

They have?! The only time I remember is when they sent a script when the episode failed to air in Australia (though it aired in the UK)

When you get that far and have only a few episodes to go, I think you might be able to contact Neighbours distributor to fill in the gap, surely they'd be interested in this massive archive and wanted to help, just to complete it.
They've helped out before so you never know.

I remember there being a statistics view in your own user profile where you could view details such as how many posts you've made in each section and what time you usually use the board? Is that feature still around? Because I can't find it anywhere.

Is there anyway to switch the reply field to HTML code view (or something like that) like you could in the previous version of the forum software? I think that's what it was called... basically the formatting didn't appear in the reply text box that you type, it was basically the HTML code that shows up instead. I found it useful for getting rid of loose code like the colour code and text size code that usually goes weird when you copy and paste from places. I just find the remove formatting button doesn't tend to work all the time.

Thanks for the replies guys. I suppose as Janet said copying the "Facebook system" would take up a lot of space so it means that previous updates by users aren't saved, only the current ones.

Forgot about them! I would say adlerj that it would require Sal to go through a whole heap of recoding seeing as it's a whole new version of the forum software, so probably wouldn't be any time soon if ever. I'll let Sal answer fully for you though
And another question, I just got really confused before when updating my status on here as I made one update, then Ally replied to me, and I replied back to her, however my first update before Ally replied was removed and "replaced" with my new one. Is it normal to only have one saved update appear at a time?
It would be cool if it could work like Facebook where all updates are seen (so the pane on the RHS on the home page is the "news feed") and each member's profile contains all of their recent status updates.

Well a few hours before you posted saying that the board was back up I went to post a topic in N. Chat and it was literally when I hit Post Topic that the board stopped loading (came up with the "Server reset" browser error message) so I assumed I had crashed the board

. It happened when I went to post a topic (which I have to repost now! 
) and when I hit the Post topic button that was when it crashed! -

Yeah, it's important to do that, especially after the upgrade as the "markers" for what you've read/haven't read are kind of screwed around post-upgrade. Once everything has been set as read (so clicking the "Mark all as unread" or whatever it is in the View New Content page, or clicking "Mark board as unread" at the bottom of the front page), then new posts after that are automatically set as unread.

That setting has always been there I believe. But on the default number of posts per page setting the thread gets closed when it reaches page 50.

I was just wondering if the banner that announces the name of the site wazs going to stay just words, or whether we would be having words and pics back?
Similar to this, will the styles for the episode archive and fan fic archive be updated to match the forum?

Just wondering, would it be possible to have the forum ranking moved below the profile picture? It looks very out of place above the profile pic.
Glad Nfans has finally upgraded to the new software. Gotta love new and shiny things.
