  1. When you get that far and have only a few episodes to go, I think you might be able to contact Neighbours distributor to fill in the gap, surely they'd be interested in this massive archive and wanted to help, just to complete it.

They've helped out before so you never know.

They have?! The only time I remember is when they sent a script when the episode failed to air in Australia (though it aired in the UK)

  2. I much prefer the stuff in the Heads Up thread - I never used to venture into RLN cos there was too much to keep up with. With heads up it's all there at a glance :)

I suppose if there was a *lot* of discussion in Heads Up thread we could consider reinstating RLN, but as Sal says, there doesn't seem to be at present.

  3. Oh ok. Sorry about the quality. What does the system warn against, if you don't mind me asking?

People on the board who break the rules are sometimes warned. The Warn system keeps track of this so the Staff know the history.

It's a bit hard to see. .. try using the "Print Screen" button on your computer next time. ;)

Nevertheless, I guess you're talking about the thing right at the bottom of the Profile information? I think it's to do with the Warn system icon that only the Staff see and in that case is nothing to worry about :)

  5. Wait so would people who have access to the Wiki section (which is a contributor forum) have their PMs enabled then? Dw I'm not fussed either way if my PMs are enabled or not cos I use it very rarely, was just curious as to why mine worked while others didn't when I'm not a staff member or contributor :p

(and hey I wouldn't mind doing summaries, it just takes time, which I don't have much of nowadays ;))

Yes, that would be an enabled section too.

I am certainly well aware that doing summaries takes time ;)

  6. What's happened is that people in the Staff, Contributor, or Subscriber group have their PMs enabled because they have been manually put into a different group at some point and therefore we know they're not spambots.

Unfortunately spambots sign up to the board in the "General Members" group, so the whole group has had to be disabled. Unfortunately, that affects our regular members who are also in that group too.

Don't worry, Sal will be looking into it at the weekend when she has some time off work and all should be well soon.

If you can't wait till then...well, you could always become a subscriber or start doing summaries, I guess ;)
