Just started watching this and does anyone think that the youngest son looks like Ben Hall (Ned Willis) although it isn’t him in the role?

This is a new show on Apple TV, I'm not sure if anyone has seen it (first episode is on Amazon Prime) I'm loving it - it's post-apocalyptic and I am finding it high quality stuff. In episode 2 I think, I recognise Priya from Neighbours is in it! It's a supporting role and at the moment she's not interested in joining the struggle of the main characters. However, I think this might change in the future particularly if it's renewed for Season 2 due to her 9 year old son in the mix (being part of the hive mind) I think it might eventually persuade her to start fighting back. Has anyone watched it? I'm not sure how many subscribe to Apple TV in the UK.

Great to hear Rhea Seehorn got a Golden Globe for Pluribus! Should raise the profile of the show too

Yes, I think the French guy has been enjoying his blow-out Maybe he'll come around in the end. Like Carol, he wasn't interested in joining the Pluribus, but I'm sure they're plotting to get his stem cells - maybe once he realises he'll join Carol's gang.

Totally agree with you. Although the temptation to live it up for a couple of weeks would be very strong

Oh yay, glad to have some fellow fans in here! I thought Menik did well as Laxshmi (sp?) I loved her stroppiness perhaps we'll see more of her in Season 2. Once she's past the denial stage, perhaps she'll join with Carol and Manousos (who I love) to try to get her son back.

It’s brilliant! I enjoyed how slow some of the episodes were, too. A good reminder of how now everything has to move at breakneck speed. I knew I recognised that actress from somewhere, but couldn’t put my finger on it! Thanks for sharing!

yes the ending felt v weak to me.

I watched this over the last week. It was ok. Jackie was good and it was interesting to see her in another role. I have seen her in Prisoner, Flying Drs and briefly in Sons and Daughters, but that was all a long time ago. There were moments when her face was pure Susan. That's not a criticism but most of the time I believed I was watching a different character but then there would be the odd moment. I felt the ending was really rushed (Funnily enough at my book group we often say the end of the book is the weakest point with everything getting wrapped up really quickly - same with this) and there were still lots of unanswered questions, not least the whole why. Dannii Minogue's part while significant was much smaller than the advertising had suggested which was annoying. Watching her occasionally reminded me of Kylie in her Neighbours days, more than Kylie reminds me of her old self most of the time. I was very pleased to see another Neighbours alumni in the form of Nicholas Bell appear. He's popped up in so much over the years, it's always nice to see him. So over all am I glad I watched it? I'm not sure I'd go that far. On the other hand I have seen worse... a lot worse.....

I've just been watching the final episode. I can't get over the hate from some quarters "Ohhh nothing happens" Oh but it does. Loads happens. It's a very deep show though That last episode - "La Chica o El Mundo". Got to be El Mundo. Hope some of you watch it as time goes on so we can discuss It is a bit obscure on Apple TV, I don't think many have it.

I just tried watching it, but couldn't really get through it. I got the first episode done, but stopped watching early on in the second episode. It was fine, but felt a bit too familiar in places. Like Neighbours, but with more swearing and sex scenes. Bit jarring, if I'm being honest. Jackie was great from what I saw. The rest of the cast was good too. It's not BAD. Just not sure if it's really for me.
