It was the airing of the 2004 finale in the UK that caused the old board to crash/prevented folk finding this place for quite a while.

Sal was a bit like that on Sunday - when this thread opened it had the Doug pic at the top but her posts were still showing her (old) avatar.

And yes I can't see an avatar for EvilRobinson or RachelWasPerfect but I can in threads.

Yes I don't like the quotes myself either.
Well, I hate the random quotes. They may be OK, when you are looking at the board on a PC, where they take a fairly small proportion of the screen, but I often look at the board from my I-phone. Then a quote can take up half of the screen! Its especially annoying when the same quote may come up several times within a few days.<br /><br />Is there anywhere for us to switch it off, in preferences - particularly on an I-phone?
I didn't see them when I was on my iPhone at the weekend after the were introduced.
ETA Just checked and I now see them on my iPhone too.

I've had to reduce the screen coverage to 80% to get the board all on one page on LittleLappy. I didn't try it on my PC at work/my iPhone.I'd go with those who say the dimensions of the board are too wide: on my monitor at work (set to 1024x768), there's about a quarter of the board that I need to scroll across in order to be able to see it. I suspect it'll be all right at home, though, where I have a wider resolution.

I love the wider screen too (although not tried it on my iPhone yet) as it works better with my widescreen lappy.

Yes that is about the only one that springs to mind.
Would they still have those eppys easily to hand though - wrong tape formats etc Adam will explain it better than I can as he's more familiar with the terminology.

Daft question but do we hold between the lot of us all the old eppys so potentially we could fill in the gap over time?

I suppose that would be the aim which would mean virtually every eppy summarised.

No you are not Alex. If you go to the RHS and click on the date/time of the last post, that takes you to the last post you read in that thread.
LHS and the little icon if you are in the normal thread view, date/time on the RHS if you are on the view content view.
