Its still the same - when it gets to page 50 (on the default settings) the thread will be closed - unless there is a specific reason to close it earlier.
Is there one that should be already?

You could always drop one of the staff members a quick PM too if you want Barney.

You can still do it yourself Barney but just a slightly different way to do it. Click 'edit post' then when your post opens up, click on 'use full editor' and you then get access to the title/subtitle. I hope that helps.BTW: I'm not sure if it was just me, but I wanted to edit the thread title in last week's Drama and Turkey Awards and can't see how to do it. It gets changed through time from nominations to vote, to results, so it's helpful to be able to do it myself.

I must admit I wasn't keen on it when it got installed but you got used to seeing if there was new posts (or not).Quick question : is there a hack or option on this version that can tell you how many new posts there are? It just used to save time if you logged in, saw it was at 0, or when at some low number to scan the board and find out the forums. -
It would appear some had problems judging by the LJ thread.

Being that its in Australia, I don't think they'd use the term forest but bush whether its just scrubland or a "forrest" of trees so to speak.

I wouldn't like to put a timescale on it but it has been like that for ages.

When I got home from work it would say something like 85 new posts, today I got home and it said 237 new posts.
But when you look at the actual new posts, it still runs to the same number of pages as it did before.

AFAIK its always been there but 99% of us probably choose to ignore it and stick with the defaults.
