Search is working for me again @Sayaka - thanks The vast majority of episode pages now seem to be loading fine too now, but have been looking through 2006 summaries over the last couple of days and I'm seeing this on them occasionally: Looking at what they have in common, I think it's those with episode titles that have apostrophes in the title (so, just a Fun Bus-related issue!) E.g.: https://www.neighboursepisodes.com/index.php?year=2004&episode=4535 https://www.neighboursepisodes.com/index.php?year=2005&episode=4742 https://www.neighboursepisodes.com/index.php?year=2006&episode=4898 https://www.neighboursepisodes.com/index.php?year=2007&episode=5133 Not sure if it's related, but I'm also getting this on episodes from 2025 with no summary yet, whereas it used to still load a page with the caps on it if the summary wasn't up: E.g.: https://www.neighboursepisodes.com/index.php?year=2025&episode=9355 https://www.neighboursepisodes.com/index.php?year=2025&episode=9359

I'm getting that too, its giving a warning line, then the episode number, writer, director, guest cast, then the fatal error message.

yes the ending felt v weak to me.

I just finished watching this. I feel Jason just proved that his strengths lie in long form shows, not mini-series, because the basic premise - a dysfunctional family that run a beachside hotel, is a great premise for a soap rather than a four episode 'event'. The location was great. Even the imposter story would have probably have worked better if it had more time to build. I wasn't really a fan of the ending, and I didn't like how meek Helen became in the final episode, even if she was being manipulated. The plot with the killer son-in-law just kind of fizzled out as well, with him getting away with it.

Yes, I think the French guy has been enjoying his blow-out Maybe he'll come around in the end. Like Carol, he wasn't interested in joining the Pluribus, but I'm sure they're plotting to get his stem cells - maybe once he realises he'll join Carol's gang.

Totally agree with you. Although the temptation to live it up for a couple of weeks would be very strong

Oh yay, glad to have some fellow fans in here! I thought Menik did well as Laxshmi (sp?) I loved her stroppiness perhaps we'll see more of her in Season 2. Once she's past the denial stage, perhaps she'll join with Carol and Manousos (who I love) to try to get her son back.

It’s brilliant! I enjoyed how slow some of the episodes were, too. A good reminder of how now everything has to move at breakneck speed. I knew I recognised that actress from somewhere, but couldn’t put my finger on it! Thanks for sharing!

I've seen him in other things, most recently Darby & Joan on the ABC (excellent show with lots of Neighbours alum guest roles, too), of course. Sounds like he was a typical Neighbours character, then.

Nicholas Bell played Martin Tyrell in the early 90s. He worked briefly with Paul and Caroline and had a briefly dated Caroline, though may have been married IIRC

My mum really liked it and I did as well. I didn't know Nicholas Bell was in Neighbours (I often say this) but I liked him in it. I've certainly seen far worse. I know we weren't meant to like the impostor but she was so awful by the end I was cheering what happened to her.
